As part of a UN program to support post-war Iraq by building the country's internal capabilities in industrial infrastructure, MENTOR designed a program for managers of state-owned enterprises to enroll in study tours designed to transfer technical and vocational knowledge within the glass & ceramic, paper & pulp and petrochemical industries.
MENTOR was engaged to develop a strategy, outlining program objectives, approach and desired outputs. We also prepared the implementation plan and organized required communication, coordination and program management requirements to ensure smooth execution.
We arranged three parallel study tour programs in Istanbul, Turkey to cover more than 18 study tour visits over a period of 3 weeks to various manufacturers in the relevant industries. The program also included running high-level workshops in areas of strategic planning, strategic sales and marketing, strategic HR management and financial awareness.
