MENTOR supported succession planning at the Dubai office of a major international bank by designing and delivering a program to develop skills of managers who were to take on more senior roles in the bank.
Following a needs assessment, courses were run on skills important to leadership roles, such as emotional intelligence, influencing skills, decision making, problem solving and communication style.
This was followed by individual coaching sessions and follow-up meetings to evaluate participants' application of learning in the workplace.
The program helped to improve the performance of participants and enable the promotion of many within the organization.
